Reviving the spirit of Japan’s Living National Treasures and France’s Maîtres d’Art, Renart sublimates wood, fusing it with glass, metal and leather, to create objects of art and furniture whose wondrous alchemy enchants the senses as much as it makes the interior resonate.

You arrive with a drawing, plans, a precise intention. We give it form. Renart realizes the projects conceived by interior architects, designers, brands and private clients, faithfully, down to the last detail. One-off furniture, custom built-in pieces, exceptional objects, large-scale fittings.

Renart masters the marriage of materials and their transfiguration. From a perfect command of traditional tools to the invention of new cabinetmaking techniques. Here, we rarely speak of quality: when you love the craft this much, it goes without saying. Every piece leaves the atelier with the same infinite care we would give to our own.

Since 2010.
Over fifteen years, Renart has built for Alfred Dunhill, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Valmont, OVO, Links of London, Holt Renfrew, the Ritz-Carlton and The Keg. Then came the residential commissions, each a world unto itself, the pieces of art furniture, and the objects that defy reason, among them the Vascellum of the Way of Wine.
Our portfolio is shared privately, out of respect for those we build for.
From the first line to the final room
Nothing is lost in translation.
Between a drawing and the object that finally enters a room lie a hundred silent decisions: a joint, a grain, a tolerance, the way an edge catches the light. It is there that most projects drift, quietly, from what was imagined. Renart carries the project whole, through engineering, fabrication and installation on site, so that what we set down is what you first saw in your mind, and so there is never a question of whose hands it passed through.
